Leighton Asia was invited by the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) Manila to speak at the 2023 Australian Mission to the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Business Opportunities Fair. The event was attended by representatives of 20 Australian organisations, and was held at the Australian Embassy Manila on 3 October 2023.
Leighton Asia's Managing Director Brad Davey spoke about Leighton Asia’s experience of working with various multilateral banks and agencies. He shared valuable insights and gave best practice examples for engaging with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) at various stages of a project. Leighton Asia recently participated in the ADB-funded South Commuter Railway Project’s procurement process, and successfully secured two contract packages.
Representatives from multilateral banks, aid agencies, and government agencies also spoke on a wide range of topics to help the attending delegation understand business opportunities and projects funded by international development agencies.
